Do You Know The "Santa Fe" ?

"Santa Fe" is Spanish for "Holy Faith"

God has already shown what is most important: love working through all things.

It is loving the wayward where the law of Christ is fulfilled.

The manner the wayward may “see” Christ and understand God's grace may depend on how the Christian treats another person.

Relating to the wayward shows that God's love is greater than their sin, since all Christians have been at one or many times in the past wayward themselves.

God's love and grace is not a license to continue to sin, but a sign that God has been very patient with them.

This should be evidenced in those who act like Christ towards the wayward.

If constantly pointing out the faults of others is your idea of being like Christ, you may be a bit confused as to how Christ executed the demands of His ministry.

If always arguing your specific doctrinal positions, or leading with your dogmas rather than with love is your method, then you may be very confused as to how Christ treated others.

Christ knew the hearts and can read the minds of the people who stood before Him.

Can you read minds and see hearts?

If not, then it seems the effort of love is first and foremost.

This is where attempting to learn where the other person is coming from and their points of view is critical to building a friendship, if that is what you are aiming to do.

Some religious people are busy attracting people to their cause in an effort to legitimize their religion, their specific group and their point of view.

But for the person who understands that loving people is the calling, their love for others doesn't need to realize an immediate or eventual result.
This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Yeshua is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Yeshua. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
We love because He first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- 1 John 4: 13-21
