Wow We Are!

Water, Air, Earth...a combination of elements turned extraordinary.

Life is such a wonderful gift.

We did not ask for it, yet here we are.

Could we have conceived such an extravagant gift prior to experiencing it?

We do not remember our preexistent thoughts while in the flesh.

What are we?

We realize we are man.

We are made to reflect the Magnificent image and likeness.

We are self aware; aware to be what we are, both like and unlike other life forms.

We are many things.

We are elements in motion.

Basic building blocks come to life.

The highest order of nature; a culmination of ages and earthly substance.

For those blessed with life and the easiness of breath, these standards of life are free, effortless.

The breath of life.

Our breathing is automatic, a rhythmic pattern set in motion before our birth.

While in the womb, the mechanism of 'breathing' was trading fluid in and out of our lungs.

Although oxygen was fed to us in another manner, our lungs were preparing to breathe air.

Our hearts were beating several months prior to our lungs were 'breathing'.

The heart, another mechanism set in motion, distributes life-blood throughout the body.

There is a finite amount of heart beats for every human being, as there are cycles of breath.

None of us knows their number, but some One does know that precise count.

Some heart beats are cut short, some prior to the heart pumping oxygen breathed from the air.

Other heart beats are prolonged, prior to the last breath of air is inhaled once more before the final exhale of the breath of life.

The life-blood running through our bodies, through externally visible arteries and veins down to microscopic and intricately grafted capillaries, carries bits of life in exchange for bits of death...bits of fuel for bits of waste.

A system of magnanimous design is our unmeasured capacity; unrivaled and unmatched.

Our collective achievements give testimony to our uniqueness.

Although our bodies share the same biological building blocks with the physical world, we stand out quite extraordinarily.

We stand as witnesses to the rest of creation stilled in an arrested development of sorts.

Man has learned much about himself and the world beyond himself.

There is so much yet for man to learn, acknowledge, realize and achieve regarding himself and his self.
