Dare Separate One?

People Today think they are not married if they don't have a commitment on paper. This is quite the convenient excuse for adultery, promiscuity and fornication.

If anyone has every lay with another person, they know full well the emotions, thoughts and concerns of the heart that arise. This is because something deeper is stirring. Something more than simply lust of the flesh. The Word speaks to this truth and spiritual reality, warning people not be deceived or corrupted by the empty logic and excuses of men.

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

- Genesis 2: 24

The act of consummation is the act of two becoming one; marriage. The uniting of two people is a vow before God. How Isaac came to 'marry' Rebecca is quite insightful.

I think every person who has ever had sex with another person has became one in spirit and in flesh with them. There is evidence of this reality when looking at the outcome of broken people, broken homes and broken lives produced from infidelity, divorce, adultery, etc.

The opposite evidence is also clear when looking at the outcome of homes with couples who are faithful, loving, respecting and honoring of one another. The outcome of both paradigms can usually be perpetually seen in subsequent generations. However, cycles can be broken and lost.

I share this in light of God's mercy, patience, forgiveness and abundance of grace upon grace already poured out. Yet, once the individual understands their sin, they are now held accountable; those whom the Holy Spirit convicts and compels to turn and are called to repent. Those who scoff either do not yet see or are not called.

God bless and have mercy on all, clarifying your certain calling.

Believing Is Seeing

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed His Name, the Lord. And He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.”

- Exodus 33: 14, 34: 5-6

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of His robe filled the temple.

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

- Isaiah 6: 1, 5

Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. I saw that from what appeared to be His waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down He looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded Him. Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around Him.

This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the Voice of One speaking.

- Ezekiel 1: 26-28

I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, His face like lightning, His eyes like flaming torches, His arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and His voice like the sound of a multitude.

I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless. Then I heard Him speaking, and as I listened to Him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground.

- Daniel 10: 5-9

On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud Voice like a trumpet.

I turned around to see the Voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest. The hair on His head was white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In His right hand He held seven stars, and coming out of His mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. Then He placed His right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I Am the First and the Last. I Am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I Am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

- Revelation 1: 10, 12-18

When Bad News Bothers

Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?

The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against His anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

He rebukes them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath, saying, “I have installed My king on Zion, My holy mountain.”

I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are My son; today I have become your Father.

Ask Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”

Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.

Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate His rule with trembling.

Kiss His son, or He will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for His wrath can flare up in a moment.

Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.

- Psalm 2

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

- Ephesians 6: 10-17

Replacing Roses For Thorns

I've had too much mainstream media recently.

I thought getting rid of television would cure the obsession to keep up with the latest W.M.D. (Weapon of Mass Distraction).

I was wrong.

I get updates of the latest domestic massacre, political outrage, gossiping insult, false prophecy, loveless religious opinion and suspicious conspiracy via my FaceBook feed.

It breaks my heart.

Some days I don't even scroll down the FaceBook feed.

I sometimes simply post the daily Bread, my work, and respond to messages and get off as quickly as possible.

I get solicitations regularly, and requests to email people strangers outside of Facebook, and several other scams or solicitations from Facebook users the world over.

The disunity among believers in Yeshua as Lord is stupefying.

The division in the political circles is to be expected, and can be just as vicious as the religious arguments.

What I also notice is the silence of many who decide not to participate.

I applaud you.

I am learning.

I also hear the latest garbage that is spinning in the minds of the common people when I visit my favorite coffee shops and other places I visit.

It is difficult reading the opinions streaming on the feed sometimes.

Quite a lot of hate, fear, judgment, ignorance.

And this not only from links to videos, or the 'news' or things like that, but personal expressions.

Reading such things really shows how amazing God's grace truly is for mankind.

Truly immeasurable.

His love is truly boundless, loving us despite our ignorance and limited horizon.

May we always remember to speak in love to others, especially when emotions run high and we are pitted against one another by the opinions of men.

May we focus on He who endures more than we can imagine, for all of us.

Might As Well Go For It

What would you rather be doing right now if you were able to pursue some other line of work? Everyone has something they need to do. Even the wealthy person has to keep track of their money. They too have a 'job.' The homeless person has to make the effort to beg, or to walk to the nearest food bank, and so forth. We all have to make ends meet and either manage what we have or make do with what little we do have. However, if you could decide to change your current occupation (what occupies your time) for something else, what would that something else be?

I met a gentleman who had a good paying job. He was previously employed at a golf resort teaching people how to play golf. He now owns and runs a small restaurant in a hip part of town. As we were talking, he was surprised of the fact that he had no idea he would be running his own business just one year ago. If someone would have told him, he most likely would not have believed them. But here he is; in charge of his own place of business and is needing more help! I congratulated him on coming this far in the journey, saying that even with an education at a business school, many never really start their own business, but end up working for someone else and running another person's business.

He agreed. The intricacies, the details, the challenges and the rest of the reality that comes with being your own boss and having or starting a business is not written down in a school book. It is learned “hands-on” while plowing forward through the process. Some of the 'success' stories didn't follow a text-book method. They did it.

Your Choice Of View

We can learn at least one thing from every person who crosses our path.

Whether it is a lesson of how to be or how not to be, that is for you to realize and learn from.

Either way, there is a lesson to learn from each person who crosses our path.

However, the question truly is: what are YOU teaching that person?

Another question: are others learning something good or bad from you?

The individual cannot help but always see the world outside of them; thus always seeing others and not themselves.

This is why we are asked to look in the mirror.

This is why we are asked to consider others better than ourselves.

This is why it is asked we remove the plank from our eye before attempting to pull a splinter from another.

And over all these things, we are asked to love one another; love our neighbor as ourselves; love our enemies.

While considering the world around you and its inhabitants, through the perspective of love is evidence of God's grace found.

Absent love, the world looks like the landscape media programming paints for the viewer.

Absent love, the people living in the world look like enemies ready to attack.

But is this really so?

Have you ever had a predetermined or prejudiced notion towards another human being before meeting them?

Your judgment of them may have been precise, or it may have been wrong.

Many times our perceptions of others are already formed by the opinions of others.

This is hearsay and gossip.

A Man walked the earth many years ago and was called a drunk, a glutton, demon-possessed and a liar.

But His action proved these allegations and accusers false.

Forward the love, not the hate, forward the faith, not the fear.

Responding To Love

An amazing event was told to me recently. It had to do with truth in the face of ignorance. As I best recall the testimony:

A gathering of believers commemorating Yeshua Christ rising from the dead (what is commonly termed “church”) was commencing and the preacher was standing at the podium delivering that Day's message. Someone comes into the congregation and interrupts the message. They ask where someone like themselves would be going according to the bible.

The person who interrupted and asked the question is a woman. Her outer appearance (clothes, haircut, etc.) hints to her sexual orientation. Some members of the congregation respond with “you're going to hell” and such other opinions along those lines. However, the pastor had something different to say.

The minister says the bible declares God loves her. God loves her despite her current situation or lifestyle. God loves her where she is today, where she was yesterday and where she will be tomorrow. The minister adds that he and other believers are called to love her. And if so-called believers fail to love her but would instead judge her, they will be the ones going to hell.

Tears fall from the woman's eyes. The congregation is silent.

My friend who is recounting this event tells me this woman left the lifestyle she was living before she walked into that congregation of believers. She not only looks different but she also acts different. She most likely thinks and sees differently. She was instrumental in the internal change which occurred with her many friends, who followed her living example of grace. This woman is a living testimony and is not slow to share how God's love caused her to see Christ for the first time, in all His love and glory.

She praises His Name!

Aligning Unto The Path

Two thousands years will soon commemorate a turning point in human history.

Men haven't failed in writing their opinions of the Super Unknown. Yet in writing their opinions, using their phrasings instead of what is believed to be inspired, men continually and aggressively argue over their own words. Yet the message is not changed. But men, in forwarding the Divine message according to their opinions, do fall short in explaining that which can only be understood by faith. And sadly, not all who desire to 'know' will understand. And not all who understand can fully explain what they 'see' through their gift of faith.

At our fingertips we have a broad history lesson waiting to be read, and hopefully objectively understood.

Yet much is still missing from man's finite understanding which may shed light on how Divine doctrine has developed. The main quest is to find the places where the Way has been loosened and where specifically and certainly it has been bound. These revelations and discoveries can permanently put arguments to rest. However, unbelievable revelations don't quell arguments.

Soon we shall see a reconciliation of groups long divided. With this reconciliation a return to the basics of the faith shall be realized. And where is the place that the faithful can be united? The very Word which sparks the faith.

One great place to start is acknowledging the Eternal Existence. Not every agnostic can be considered an atheist or denier of the acknowledgement of God. This life is a journey. Not every atheist breathing today will breathe their last breath as an atheist. Life events, like the death of close relatives or friends, have their designated purpose. Not every religious person will continue to be immovable from their strict interpretations. Love works wonders when love is honestly pursued.

Let Living Water Flow Through You

You cannot reason with the religious unless you reason over the basis for love.

Otherwise, your doctrine will be bitten by their dogma.

Love absorbs religion. Love unites indifference. Love brightens dark places.

Love is the Gospel. Love completes doctrine. Love is the Way. God is Love.

If you are not acting in love towards another human being, then what is really working inside of you?

If your response to hate, ridicule, rejection and the like is not in love, then you may lose the battle being waged within you.

When confronting hate, you'd be surprised how powerful silence can be (as you pray internally for the haters).

Your eyes reflect the condition of your heart.

The eyes speak a message we cannot put into a words.

The heart also speaks.

Best to pause and consider what your heart desires to say past your lips prior to speaking.

The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.

The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.

Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.

- Proverbs 15: 3, 13, 28, 30, 32

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

- Matthew 6: 22-23

Walk in light. Exude Love.

Love absorbs religion. Love unites indifference. Love brightens dark places.

Love is the Gospel. Love completes doctrine. Love is the Way. God is Love.

The Medium's Guide To Light

I found a flyer on the ground while walking offering psychic help. I was surprised to read that both “binding” and “loosening” is offered. Sadly, the business of spiritual matters is a dark pit which leads people astray, yet is perceived to be an elevated place and somehow revered.

The law condemned the practice then, and Today it is to be avoided.

A gifted person uses their gifts in service of God's Way, bringing people closer to God according to Yeshua as Lord. To trade a gift's efforts in exchange for money is missing the Way. Only God's chosen, walking in the Way of Truth, have dominion over the darkness of evil. Those who peddle their gifts for money and outside of the Way suffer consequences. Once the truth of God in Christ was revealed, the response to turn away from pursuing spiritual matters on one's own was quite inspiring.

His motivation and incentive precedes the call to serve others, not for financial gain, but according to salvation and recognition of Yeshua Christ as Lord; the Savior of mankind.  This shows how the spiritual battle has been brought onto the material plane. The Book of Acts has such examples as we've already mentioned.

Spiritists, mediums, and what can be termed 'mystics' and the like have always existed. God makes no mistakes in allowing certain people to have and develop certain gifts. People are endowed with extraordinary gifts by God. These gifts have no origin with men, but are permissible by God. But not all people submit to God in reverence according to God's Way.

As the Heart asks to use material wealth for good, some seek selfish ends while leaving crumbs for others. Same goes for spiritual gifts; do as God asks you do, not as you desire to do.

From Crawling To Walking

I was recently recalling a fateful event. Years ago I had quite a peculiar experience while on vacation. A distinct, subtle and peaceful voice came across my heart and mind. It wasn't me talking to myself, nor my inner-thought process.

I was very young, possibly in my second year of junior college. I was on a cruise ship traveling to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. I was ambitious with hair longer than most women. I was a guitar playing hippy, chasing women, acting cool and looking good.

I was interviewed by cruise staff the first day arriving on the ship. My likeness was broadcast throughout the thousands of closed-circuit television sets on-board. I was made locally famous and didn't realize it.

While dancing in the nightclub that first night, people were coming up to me, offering me drinks and acting like my best friends. They had seen me on their cabin television. I kept forgetting. Their acceptance of me was automatic. I had my choice of new friends. Women were asking me to do things for them. Seemed like everyone wanted to hang out with this hippy from Los Angeles. I tasted what stardom or popularity was like.

I found a ship employee who was able to acquire marijuana for me. I figured this would be a great addition to the week's festivities. The 'high' point of the week was when I invited a select few club goers up to the sun deck one evening to enjoy a smoke. These folks had embraced me as their party leader and, by having this contraband on-board, I was surpassing their wildest expectations. It was at that moment, as I basted in my own glory, I heard the voice say:

“You have power to lead people to do good or do bad.”

How Some Men Are Taught By God

"A Song For Sleeping"

- by Stone Temple Pilots

Finally I've met you
The day has come
You're more than beautiful
And you're My son

I don't deserve this
I never thought it could be
Quite like the moment
When you first smiled at me
A toothless, wonderful feeling
Like I'd never seen

It's you, Noah, it's you

And when you lie down to sleep
I'll protect you
From the demons of the night
While I'm watching you grow

There's so much I could teach you
If you only have the time

There's so much GOD can teach you
If you only have the time

So will you tell me the little things?
What does GOD look like?
And angels' wings?
I don't remember these things
So would you teach them to me?
So for the moment
I'll watch you breathe

And when you wake up in the morning
And I pour the coffee
You're always smiling sweetly

And when you lie down to sleep
I'll protect you
From the demons of the night
While I'm watching you grow

There's so much I could teach you
If you only have the time

There's so much GOD can teach you
If you only have the time

And when you lie down to sleep
I'll protect you
From the demons of the night
While I'm watching you grow

There's so much I could teach you
If you only have the time

There's so much GOD can teach you
If you only have the time

There's so much I could teach you
If you only have the time

Much how men are touched by the hand of God upon having children, so did this man realize what life was about, much how this man did before him.

New Age Politico

What is a politician?

Are they public servants (as in; for the mass population of their district)?

Are they brokers forwarding business opportunities for private interests?

Are they both for the sake of business-making and policy writing?

Do politicians live in the poorest part of their district?

Should they?

Do politicians take public transport to get a 'feel' of the people they serve over?

Should they?

Should the politician deriving their livelihood from the public coffers be a servant of that public?

Who then is the public?

The public in the poor neighborhood, the poor part of town, is the very place that area's representative should reside.

The transportation the public takes to get from one place to another is the method the representative should take.

The average income of the demographic in any given zone should be the stipend the representative receives.

Police escorts to, from and during the night where the public servant would now be staying should provide an incentive to root out criminality.

If the top-down method of 'leading' people has rendered hollow representation of the dispossessed, wouldn't a bottom-up effort meet the needs?

Is it me, or wasn't the idea of a public servant one who already achieved all secular pursuits and has taken a hiatus from those personal pursuits to fix the broken issues they encountered?

Why do career politicians exist, going from office to office, building a resume as if public service was an accolade and not 'public service' it is?

The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.

He Proved and Approved

I had an amazing discussion with a Syrian friend recently. Growing up Muslim, he believes Islamic tradition saying Muhammad is greater than Jesus. We both agree God is One. He considers us on the same page of peace.

I declared how in His time, miracles / signs proved Jesus and the Gospel to be true, and miracles / signs Today approve His believer's testimony, myself being a witness.

I mentioned the Quran's information (7th-Century A.D.) regarding Isa / Jesus / Yeshua:

Amazingly and, according to God's timing, this happened when ending our conversation:

A man near us hears me declare “Jesus is Lord after I shared the manner Jesus proclaimed His divinity: “before Abraham was, I Am.” The man also exclaims: Jesus is Lord and testifies how he saw Jesus forty years ago. His heart stopped after a heart attack. Jesus appeared to him saying it wasn't his time pass over. Coming back to life, the man's health issues were healed. He is a walking testimony.

Hello Will Eventually Work

What a difference saying “hello” makes. We never know how putting our fears, or our pride, or our whatever it is aside can make doors open to us. Recently I was invited to a neighborhood watch meeting. I was so thrilled to meet other neighbors which I've either seen in passing or haven't seen at all in the nearly two years of living on that particular street. Not everyone is friendly, or seems unfriendly at first, but you'll never know unless YOU are the one to say hello... and have a chat.

Our neighborhood is experiencing some nefarious activity in the alleys behind the houses. A close friend whose lived there for years and chats with people living in the neighborhood, noticed a change when a certain character moved back in with his mother. The graffiti rose exponentially, as did thefts, vandalism and trash in the alley. I also noticed how there wasn't much going on in the alley when we first moved in, but now there's loitering and a particular presence.

The character in question has always avoided eye contact with me. I've said hello to him and those walking next to him. They respond, but he looks down or away. My carnal mind wants to pursue the idea of getting him or his mother evicted so the 'problem' would leave from our neighborhood (the meeting's consensus), but most likely this will simply transplant the issues elsewhere without resolve.

Last night I was considering this character most likely didn't have a dad growing up. I don't know his story other than the negative hearsay. My carnal mind wants to simply run him out of the neighborhood. But I must consider He who speaks to my heart. What would that voice say to this person.

I shall continue with hello.

"What Religion Are You?" Asked Lady Rebecca

I was discussing understanding God's love and will for mankind with a friend.

I was backing away from another contentious discussion before it becoming a debate over words; what ruins hearers.

Rebecca overheard our conversation.

This friend, whom I love and consider a brother yet he does not me, sadly believes God hates certain people prior to their departure.

He thinks men could righteously judge other's according to words.

He also has issue with the word “in” instead of “of” when discussing 'faith in/of Christ.'

This may sound trivial, but it is a life and death issue for some.

Many are the divisive arguments religious people make while ignoring the foremost priority of loving one another.

Some fail keeping the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

I turn to Miss Rebecca, opening with how religion is one thing while walking with God is something entirely different.

The two are typically confused as the same thing.

After sharing with her the faith God has granted me, I turn the conversation over to my dear friend.

He hands her a booklet written in the 18th century containing the doctrine he agrees with, the same he handed me when we first met.

I have come to understand that people are not 'saved' by association, by 'knowing' the correct information or accurately repeating a doctrine.

Sadly, men follow the interpretations and words of men instead of the very basics of the Gospel, which starts and ends with Love.

The Pharisees of Christ's time possessed the knowledge of the law, the prophets, and knew the proper 'doctrine,' yet their hearts were vacant of love and mercy for others.

Despite their standing in the community and their vast knowledge, they were blind, calling evil what was good and good what they thought evil.

The Mouth Speaks The Heart's Overflow

I see many beautiful people every day. Attractive people. Handsome men and beautiful women. Some say the suit makes the man. Many people consider the outer appearance is very telling of what or who they are on the inside. Is this true? A woman conservatively and modestly dressed may pass by unnoticed while a woman dressed to impress or to accentuate her body won't pass by unnoticed by some men. But how can one tell who really is a beautiful person?

In my experiences, I personally cannot tell if someone is beautiful until they open their mouth. When I hear their words is when I can truly tell what is happening on the inside. Some people I initially perceived to be beautiful can become quite ugly according to their words. Listening closely, you can tell the condition of some people's hearts the moment they speak.

I know the thoughts that come across my heart, and how ugly words can be formed on the tip of my tongue, ready to be unleashed. I can tell when I am about to become ugly. Some ugliness does slip through my lips, and I forget who I was made to be. My human condition spills through, turning His beautiful creation into an ugly mess. But thank God for His grace, patience and love. Indeed He is good and loving.

“Are you still so dull?” Yeshua asked them. “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

Secret Mysteries Only God Reveals

What's in a handshake?

I have friends of all stripes, sizes and shapes in the physical and virtual realms. Some friends may not consider me their friend, but a stranger or an enemy. You'd have to ask them. But to me, I am called to love them, treat them as friends and if allowed, love them as I love myself.

I come across different people in my daily routine from all walks of life and backgrounds. Their religious spectrum is widely varied; Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Maat, Atheist, Science, etc. Their heritage background is also illustrious; African, Hebrew, Arab, Western and Eastern Europe, Indigenous, Asia, etc. Some want me in their group, others don't say anything about their secret group, and my kind are automatically disqualified.

What is going inside their hearts and minds is anybody's guess, but I'm sure it could be as different as what passes through my heart and mind. And possibly very much the same. I do know this: any one of these friends enjoys a great meal. Especially a meal with special people they admire.

Some of these friends are very wealthy; millionaires or more. Others are homeless; picking up every penny they find. Most are just occupied with earning enough to pay the cost of living. But one thing is surely held in common with them all: they all respond to Love. However, their response isn't always positive. Some never experienced love. They may have heard the word, but never the appropriate actions accompanying the term. Some have love confused with sexual feelings. Some do not believe love exists. Yet for us who know Love, we can see how our love for others is sometimes reciprocated, sometimes rejected.

But I love them all nonetheless, despite their different reactions to the Love they've never known.

Clean House Or Be Cleared Out

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Yeshua went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts He found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So He made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves He said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning My Father’s house into a market!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume Me.”

The Jews then responded to Him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?”
Yeshua answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple He had spoken of was His body. After He was raised from the dead, His disciples recalled what He had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Yeshua had spoken.
Now while He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs He was performing and believed in His Name. But Yeshua would not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for He knew what was in each person.

- John 2: 13-25

What does Yeshua need to remove from your temple?

What have you placed in your temple which needs exorcising?

Are today's buildings temples where God resides?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.

A View From Above

Police State. Police Status. Police Statistics. Police Station. Police Policy.

George Orwell wrote an interesting book, published in 1947, entitled 1984. In it a dreary and gloomy futuristic outlook is described: state surveillance of all public and private activity. News propaganda rules the media as televised images of war, executions of state enemies and other madness feeds the mass consciousness. This is the meaning that defines their dismal existence.

But what has come about Today, many years after that secular prophet predicted government encroachment into public life? Don't we find out about crimes that would otherwise go unpunished or at least unknown? Hasn't the camera captured images of atrocities, of duplicity, of hypocrisy and of unconscionable wickedness? We have seen video footage of those behind the badge become the criminals they are entrusted to capture. We've also seen criminals continue to be criminals.

As more cameras infiltrate the public spaces, we will see an increase in criminal activity. Read that sentence again. I'm not predicting an increase in criminality, but an increase in the evidence of criminal activity. Can this be argued as not good?

As the desire to curb crime increases, so will their be an increase in surveillance. Every single person will soon have to behave somewhat decent, at least while out in public. Aside from someone being able to see your coming and going, there will also be a witness to littering, to vandalism, to theft, to muggings, to homicide and to who knows what else. With a network of cameras across the cityscape, a criminal may be tracked back to their residence or to a location where their likeness will be made known.

The view that God has of us all is becoming clearer.

Let us hope the human judges will be wise in their judgments.

My Monies Are Not Missing

Whenever a new rule(r) is established, that ruler's money is introduced. You can always tell who is really in charge temporally according to the money in circulation. What is the world's reserve currency? That tells you who is the physical boss. Yet, it may not be who you think. You nor I sign that piece of paper which we pass between each other for goods and services. The entity owning that currency is printed across the center top of that paper. That paper is a contract; an agreement between two parties. There's a date, terms and signatures of two party representatives.

As currencies and mediums of exchange (what money is) have changed over time, so have terms regarding their exchange. The rule of law commands obedience to the always changing terms. Why would people forgo trading their local currency, or simply bartering with a handshake and mutual understanding, for a new money? Force. Legal liability. The fact that “taxes” can only be “paid” in that new currency, not in rice, nor chickens nor the previous currency. One man over another by force.

What is the currency used in your household? Is it the empire's paper? Do you have your own? My wife and I have a credit/debt system of our own. It is based/backed by Love, not gold or the issuance of interest bearing debt. We don't trade with interest. Our currency is duty, interest and tax free. We don't keep a strict record of our debts towards one another; we're poor accountants. But we are traditionally crediting one another constantly. And when I mess up, say or do something off the Way of goodness, she forgives my debt. I do the same for her.

We've grown to be the wealthiest people we know by issuing the currency of Love.

Get Behind Me, You Have Not The Concerns of God

I sometimes forget my humanity.

I believe to be in touch with my shortcomings; they are always a reminder of my humanity.

Yet I forget my humanity.

How can this be?

When I am hurt by others, I shake off the discomfort, the pain, the judgment, the accusations, the ridicule.

But after some time, I hurt.

I forgive, but my heart aches.

I am aware of how my nature desires to hurt back, but I can't feed that notion much after it becomes an idea in my mind.

Then I wonder how others can be so cruel.

I remember being one like this, going around making judgment calls on the eternal destiny of others according to their words and their current point of view.

And now religious fanatics are doing this to me!

What a lesson I am learning.

I have found it most difficult to befriend the religious more than anyone else.

What at first seems to be unifying factors between us quickly turns into a joust of pride and perspective.

Love vanishes to the background while doctrinal disputes take the main-stage.

The more I speak of love, of peace, of unity and humility, the more the resounding gongs and clanging symbols of their narrow doctrines ring out loud.

The more I petition for peace, the more viciousness is unleashed.

And to these accusers, my desire for peace is a sign of how incorrect I am, and how correct they are in their judgments.

How can this be?

God is beyond any person's diminutive point of view, mine included.

God's love goes beyond our understanding derived from words on a page and opinions of men.

God's grace encompasses people who have been deemed unclean and hopeless.

Yet the so-called righteous stand and boast in their thoughts and pompous hearts.

Called To Catch The Wave

The walk in the Light is like surfing (I'll do my best, not being a surfer).

The sea ebbs and flows onto the shore, bringing in undulating waves.

When the proper wave forms, the surfer catches the rise.

He flows along with the strength of the fluid motion until it dissipates.

At times, the wave is too strong and the surfer is tossed from the surfboard.

Other times, the wave is insufficient for a ride, so the surfer lets it pass and waits for a proper one.

Some days, the waves are only to be viewed, not ridden.

This could mean they are either too fierce or too weak to be surfed.

When the surfer is tired, has to move on with their day or has had their fill, they ride their last wave all the way to shore.

Depending on the skill set of the surfer, they can catch almost every wave they desire.

One thing the surfer can bet on: there will always be a wave to catch.

It is the wave which the surfer has grown accustomed to, not the wave to the surfer.

The waves and their motion have always been; it is the surfer who has lately appeared.

Some locations provide for better waves to surf, other locales are not as suitable.

Over time, the underlying conditions change, thus changing the formation of waves.

Yet the waves will continue to form, to roll over and to swell along the coasts of the earth.

The ocean currents and their subsequent wave patterns are fluid, varying in minute scale while being constant overall.

While a new invention of man will allow him to ride the waters in a different way tomorrow, the waters themselves will not change.

The ocean waves are not predictable, yet they are current.

Are You Religious Or Righteous?

We see many who claim they are God's elect, yet are quite disagreeable. Many false prophets, false believers or religious zealots claim, using scripture, that they know God... but are wolves inside. They know Him not, allowed to be deceived by God. Maybe He allows this is so others may recognize them; learning to love even these who tarnish the unity God calls His children to.

This is why pushing doctrine while citing the scriptures means nothing when one cannot perceive another's heart. One can guess, not according to words or doctrine, but according to the speech and treatment of others, granting a glimpse of their heart's condition.

You can sometimes tell who has love in their hearts for God and others, and who is puffed up and full of contempt. These are resounding gongs, repeating the same things they've read or were taught, while empty of God's love, unable to share nothing other than their focus, which is not Christ's love, but their narrow doctrines authored by men citing much scripture. They love to argue over words and doctrines, thinking they are doing God's good work, yet the teaching of righteousness says not to argue over words and pursue peaceful unity.

Righteousness says love your enemy, yet these men filled with knowledge consider other men who call Yeshua Lord their enemy. These puffed up 'wise' attackers are vacant of love and peace. They are vicious wolves according to their actions and condemning words. They believe they support the cause of Christ! They believe to be the elect, while they divide the unseen body of Christ.

If some of these are, by His grace, in the kingdom of God, they will be called least, for they cause many to stumble. They are not of the gatherers. They blindly scatter sheep.

Ask With The Right Heart

You get what you want in and out of life.

Some folks call the manner in which they acquire things the “law of attraction.” That's an interesting way of putting it. I call it love. I see it this way: God loves you so much that He gives you what your heart desires. Yet, as anyone who has lived long enough to learn something, getting what you want always comes with a caveat.

When I was pursuing the wealth of the earth, I received what I wanted. I also received along with the money a test that I would wish on no man. Darkness crept over my heart. Duplicity challenged my prior desire to be honest 100% of the time. I had to remove that which caused me to doubt and slide away from the truth: the money.

I know, this is not the case for all men. But this was the case for this man. I had put my heart's desire for the money over my heart's desires for the Truth. Some say “truth” is relative. Yes, relative for those who define the truth for themselves.

When you consider what you do not have in life (parents, a spouse, a large home, a vehicle, a vacation, a private island, the latest technological gadget, etc.), remember that you will eventually receive what your heart desires. But I must caution you. Ask for the greater things, like Truth, Love, Humility. Ask for 'things' with a good heart, knowing your wayward desires may hurt you. Ask knowing the unwanted comes along the wanted. This is how God teaches us and exposes our hearts, for our own good, because He sincerely loves us.

When asking for something or someone, have the good desire to do good with what you receive. He will provide!

There Is One

Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the Word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Yeshua would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

- Acts 16: 6-10

“If you love Me, keep My commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see Me anymore, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I Am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I Am in you. Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them.”

“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

- John 14: 15-21, 25-26
