Peaceful Warfare

Unlock The Mentality Of The Swaying Currents

When people are at war (mostly within themselves, then spilling out onto others), peace is the solution...but some people cannot fathom peace.

Peace has to do with surrender...and surrender is commonly interpreted as weakness and defeat, instead of strength and victory.

For the warmonger, fighting is their method and path towards peace...and this couldn't be further from the truth.

Strong men of times past (kings, despots, tyrants, warriors, etc.) used force and messages to dominate others not already subject to them...as do the strong men of today.

The message was typically delivered by herald before and / or after a military campaign.

The herald brought with them a message of warning, decree, instruction and propaganda...and all of these were weaved within the message.

From the entry, propaganda is:

Information that is not objective and is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, often by presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.

Propaganda is often associated with material prepared by governments, but activist groups, companies and the media can also produce propaganda.

Individuals should be included alongside governments, activist groups, companies and media in the definition of propaganda.

Why?

An interesting phenomenon is being realized on social media.

The variety of dispensations (definition #2) throughout the world, its cultures and the many subcultures, are being revealed online.

Those who study the humanities, anthropology, political science, etc., may be having a field day (good time) having current and past human ideas at their fingertips.

The gullible and susceptible are sadly becoming more confused and more aligned towards tribalism.

Tribalism is the state of being organized in or an advocate for a tribe or tribes. In terms of conformity, tribalism may also refer in popular cultural terms to a way of thinking or behaving in which people are loyal to their own tribe or social group.

Tribalism is most obvious and evident in religious, ethnic and political groups.

Even in the Christian religion that is supposed to be inclusive and accepting of all people, there is evidence of tribalism...which leads to prejudice, fear and a closed heart towards those outside the comfort of the particular brand of Christianity.

Why is this?

Lots of factors.

One factor is judging people by mere appearance; what is on their outside compared to what the individual believes is good, right or fact.

Fear is another factor.

People fear what is different, or unknown...or what has been told them as 'bad'.

Misunderstandings from faulty judgments and fear is a debilitating combination...preventing learning and preventing you from loving those you are currently hating.

The aim and purpose of an open society, what some would define as a democracy, is to be pluralistic and accepting of what is different yet tolerable.

This spectrum of what is tolerable is based on common core values.

People's rights is one core value.

However, defining where rights end and the laws of restriction begin, is the challenge of both the individual and everyone collectively... the 'work' of the professionals, but really it is our personal job.

With freedoms come responsibility.

What one person prizes as a freedom could be seen and understood as depravity and unwholesome by someone else.

A common value is the value of human life.

Governments boast of their human rights and valuing human life above all 'things' of the world...until they contradict themselves and execute people for various reasons.

How does one then conduct 'peaceful warfare'?

The war of the peaceful is internal.

A Muslim may boast that they have such an internal struggle, calling it 'jihad'.

But not every Muslim limits the struggle to the inner sanctum of their heart, soul and mind.

Sadly, not every Christian realizes that their warfare was prescribed by Christ (God revealed to mankind as Lord of all and the Author of their faith) to be ever-internal...even to the point of death (their death, not causing the death of others).

How did Christ conduct warfare while on earth?

He surrendered...to the point of death.

He loved...to the point of death.

How did the church conduct its peaceful warfare against that time's empire?

The church surrendered...to the point of death.

The church loved...to the point of death.

The church triumphed over that time's empire and was established...and that time's empire (and empires hence) has become a vassal of the invisible kingdom of Christ forever...through humans both inside and outside of government.

How did the church of Christ triumph over the kingdoms of men?

Through love and peace...and mankind is amazed, unaware and bewildered by the facts of this life.

And how will this church, believed-to-be seen and evidenced only through certain groups of people (and not others) continue to triumph over the negatives mentioned in this article?

Through the love, peace and surrender exemplified by the Lord and God revealed unto mankind: Yeshua Christ.

Praised be His Holy Name!
