Rich In Which Way?

Without People Money Would Have No Perceived Value,
Since People Are What Grant Money That Perceived Value

Is money good or bad?

Money is neutral, it is neither good nor bad.

It is how money is perceived, used and handled that causes good or bad outcomes, for self and for others.

If you consider money as something 'bad', it will be a bad thing...for you.

If you think money is the most important thing, it will be very important and may have you doing unimaginable things to have it.

If you realize money is simply a tool, a medium of exchange, an idea invented by someone, then this is what it will be clarified to be...and the manufactured mystery surrounding money will dissolve in due time.

Does money hold any power?

If you think so, then yes money holds power...but only in your mind, and imaginably over you.

This perception of 'value' or 'power' is why people kill others over money, or go to war over desires of wealth and power.

But power isn't only materially realized.

Many people only see the world through the myriad material manifestation, having little idea what actual power is.

Power comes not from this world or the material 'things' of this world, although this is what many 'perceive' as real and powerful.

What can and does money buy you?

Money can buy you an education, learning and memorizing information of many things...but does such an education also provide you wisdom?

Plenty of people have university degrees yet are incompetent in their chosen profession or the field their degree qualifies them for.

Money can buy a large house, but does a house make for a place called home?

Plenty of homes are empty of love, peace and community, but are instead filled with hate, conflict and solitude.

Money can buy expensive clothes, but do fancy clothes cover internal shame and an ugly character?

Plenty of people look sharply dressed, but inside they are scary people you would rather avoid.

Someone would dare argue, saying “but he / she is rich, so who cares?”

Some foolish justifications are reasons why people have ruined themselves and those around them, misplacing priorities.

Have you ever noticed how people sometimes put up with a rich person's bad attitude simply because they are wealthy?

Notice that a wealthy person may not put up with people or situations they dislike, but why isn't the opposite true?

Money is a useful tool if used properly and honorably.

Are you 'rich' if you have a lot of money?

Many people understand only a single and popular definition of 'rich' or 'wealth', because they define such terms through the thin veil of money.

This is why the world has many examples of very wealthy people who are poor in manners and character.

But not ever rich or wealth person has a bad heart or poor attitude...as not every poor person has a good heart or wonderful attitude.

We see plenty of people on television that seem to be rich, wearing very nice (or hardly any) clothes, but when they speak, the poverty in their hearts and minds are revealed to some of us, but not everyone.

They desire to show their 'wealth' through a bank account filled with many monetary notes, yet the notes written on their hearts and minds read GREAT DEBT, LATE PAYMENTS, FORECLOSURE, REPOSSESSION, BANKRUPTCY.

It is a great blessing having both material and spiritual wealth.

While spiritual wealth has its origins from a gift, material wealth is a reward for work done in and according to this world's thin veils.

What is in your wallet?

What is in your heart?

What is in your mind?

Are your answers all measured according to a single definition?

Do all of these 'add up' to your measurement of wealth?

Do you have great wealth in one manner, while abject poverty in another manner?

It is okay if one of those places is dirt-poor (or in arrears, or have been washed away), so long as it is the less important place...a place that won't matter when your higher self graduates from the material plane.

Be sure to have balanced accounts, and that your life is diversified in a truly wealthy way.
The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
   for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
   for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
   for giving prudence to those who are simple,
knowledge and discretion to the young—
   let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
   for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise
   The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
- Proverbs 1: 1-7
