Gold Rings And Pig Noses

Notice throughout nature it is the males who are usually brilliantly colored.
Notice how with humans, both sexes do their best to be 'attractive', and often go to extremes.
But with animals, who exist so we may learn from them, there is no need to go beyond the natural.
In the light, the male Mallard's head shines like a splendorous crown.
The female has her unique beauty and attractiveness, noticeable in her plumage detail.
The female recognizes her male counterpart, as does the male his counterpart.

Have you ever seen or noticed a naturally attractive person taking credit for their physical features?

Notice that in most cases they had nothing to do with their body shape or the attributes they flaunt.

Some people are born with what is popularly and currently considered 'beautiful' something(s).

These popular notions change all the time.

Someone born looking a certain way, with a certain aesthetic, or a particular body shape, or a certain symmetry to their face, all naturally occurring (them having nothing to do with it), yet taking credit for it and perceiving themselves as 'more valuable' than another person not having the popularized ideal... what is that about?

How foolish to misplace credit and praise.

There is no doubt the human body is a beautiful work of art... but who is the Artist?

How foolish to follow the low opinions of foolish people blinded by the suggestions of still other foolish people when people take pride for things they had nothing to do with.

How silly to consider what is perceived as 'beautiful' today, yet being ignorant of the past or ignoring the lessons from the past, or the constant lessons displayed in nature.

Beauty is beyond a single dimension of physical aesthetics.

What can be considered as attractive today was thought to be unattractive or odd in past times.

A full-figured woman was 'ideal' at one time past, then the starving waif was considered 'beautiful' or 'ideal', and tomorrow yet another ideal will be opined by the masses.

For men, a clean-shaven face was ideal... and now full-faced beards are in vogue... and tomorrow?

Notice how certain things considered attractive a generation ago is now seen as hideous, or silly, or embarrassing.

Extremes abound.

An extreme is when women and men put synthetic things on / in their bodies to make themselves more attractive.

Instead of becoming more attractive, their lack of inner beauty is actually revealed.

The disguises only fool those also in disguise and motivated to fool others.

The anomaly is obvious, the insecurity evident, the obscurity of a proper grounding clear.

The normal and natural may soon become a novelty after mankind has injured themselves with every false notion argued as true or better or beautiful.

In the age of identity crisis, where men 'feel' they are a woman trapped in a man's body (or any of the other inventive tangents borne of depravity), how far will man go in infesting nature with such warped inventions?

I could not imagine nature being fooled into confusion as man has done to his brother and sister.

Will the male Mallard duck begin to suspect himself to be a female duck trapped in the body of a male duck?

If these animals, beautiful and interesting as they are, are simple animals... and mankind is complex... is it this complexity which has beguiled man to break from nature's norms?

Does not complexity bring knowledge towards wisdom's fruition?

Not in the matter when man ate from a forbidden tree and learned the knowledge of good and evil.

Man's mind has not been the same since.
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
- Romans 1: 18-32
