Human Minds Recoil When Challenged With The Surreal

Consider the constant miracles always happening, but usually ignored or denied simply because men have come up with words to describe their mechanisms.

To think that the planet earth is kept in a constant pattern around the sun, at just the right distance to sustain life, not too close where it would be too hot and all water (and life) would evaporate, and not too far where the opposite would happen... is quite a miraculous feat often dismissed because it is a constant reality... and man has known no other.

Water's journey from our bodies, into the earth / sea, to the clouds, mountain top rivers or underwater aquifers, is another miracle easily dismissed because men now 'know' how it goes and comes, but still cannot explain WHY it does.... but because it works on its own, men may take it for granted or look at it as nothing spectacular.

Why does the planet continue to travel around the sun?

Where is the mechanism that tells it is to do such?

Why hasn't it slowed down (law of motion?).

Does putting into words the things that man observes somehow make them less miraculous or make them less surreal?

Men do argue this when they better understand something, yet their pessimism can be contagious recipe that undermines how wonderful all these things are, even our very bodies and our mind's understanding of such things.

Why does water continue and not simply go away as does other physical things on earth (or turn into lesser things, yet oxygen continues to match with hydrogen and water persists)?

Yet, even if these things could be answered and understood with human terms and human definitions, would such terms fully answer the 'what' and 'why' of such splendor?

No.

Although men say that water's purpose is to sustain life, man cannot say 'how' or 'why' water came to exist in the first place in order to spark life.

Theories abound, but the facts of reality are simply accepted and their splendor dismissed as common.

Men are pessimistic and easily dismiss things glorious, while praising things dishonorable and shameful... or bringing praise to themselves for having given names and ideas to things observed.

Instead of the miracle of Yeshua raising Himself from the dead, as He predicted He would, and this miracle a cornerstone of factual history, notice how it is also dismissed as legend or myth, and shameful ideas are instead peddled as truth and wicked men are praised as honorable for their mundane ideas.

I pray that miracles beyond the miraculous constants happen in your life, dear friends reading these words.

May you better know the mechanisms of this world, but better know that there is a God in heaven, and He humbled Himself when He came down and walked the earth along with His creation, and it was and is by His hand and His will that the earth is sustained, that water continues to flow, and all the laws that men have observed are constants without interruption because God's Word has declared them to do as such.

And when a man is able to participate in what God has ordained, even things miraculous and inexplicable by man's scientific methods, then that man learns that God desires the man to know Him in ways intimate and real.

God, through nature, has already revealed Himself:

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
- Romans 1: 18-20
And God, through nature, makes purpose when a miracle breaks convention with man's mind.. but where men lack faith, God decides not to move... showing that man has a role in even the miraculous:
When Yeshua had finished these parables, He moved on from there. Coming to His hometown, He began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t His mother’s name Mary, and aren’t His brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all His sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at Him.
But Yeshua said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”
And He did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
- Matthew 13: 53-58

Miracles go unnoticed because where people's hearts and minds are.

For those who will not believe regardless of a miracle, or when after recognizing and witnessing a miracle they persist in their denial, very few or no miracle will be presented to them besides the miracle attested by historical accounts and proven as a historical event, called the Sign unto Mankind by others: the Resurrection.
