Language Of Love

Read Titus 1: 15

What does it mean to speak love to another person?

Is it possible to love in such a way, and always do so, by speaking love?

I think you know you love someone who you consider their weaknesses when speaking to them.

Loving someone is to speak to them in a language they understand.

Although two people may speak the same phonetical human language, those two people may be speaking completely different languages of the heart.

This is where only the hearts can speak with one another, regardless of the language used or its delivery (if outside of love).

Only the heart recognizes, and thus understands, when love is being spoken.
My sheep listen to My Voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My hand.
- John 10: 27-28
It says God is Love, and the verse following 'God is Love' explains how God showed His love for mankind.

The heart can decipher things that languages of men easily confuse.

It is written that the heart is deceitful above all things, and that it cannot be understood.

So how can one be sure when they are hearing Love speaking to them if the heart is apt to being deceived?

This is an often quoted portion of Scripture that is used in a way to invoke doubt, I think.

It is often quoted with the following verse usually omitted (lacking context).
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
- Jeremiah 17: 9-10
Before human language was taught to man's heart (human language having deviance and lies intertwined with truth), God spoke His law and founded it on the hearts of His children.
“This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”
- Hebrews 10: 16
The concept of conscience is derived from what that verse speaks to... and it is a thing of mystery and amazement.

What is one reason why the hearts of men can be deceived?

Because men are very much accustomed to listening to ideas originating from men.

People listen to and reiterate things of this world...instead of things originating from Above.

Mankind has made up many laws, concepts, religions, governments, theories, and fictions attempting to describe reality... but often times these ideas ignore what God has already spoken and established.

It is best to also quote that verse in its wider context:
For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.
- Hebrews 10: 14-18
When it comes to love, and speaking love to others, it is in the context that God has already provided a way out of this life's turmoil.

This is the manner a believer is to speak to others.

This is the manner how people are able to 'hear' things important.

This is how hope is fostered.

This is how Yeshua spoke about the kingdom of God - the answer to this world's troubles when consider space and time and place.

Notice how Yeshua always spoke love to others, even His enemies.

Notice how Yeshua always spoke hope, so people may believe.

Notice how to be a Christian is to be like Christ to others, not any other label or identity or thing imagined by men on earth.

To speak love to others is truly the language of God.
