Fatherhood
What is something amazing that really puts life in perspective for you?
I was reading about a gentleman whose expressions are very
controversial. I was watching a report
regarding free speech. The presenter had
several guests speaking about topics revolving around speech and how its
freedom is being curbed.
The political climate today is one which double standards
rule over objectivity. One religion can
be ridiculed while the ridiculing of another is cause for violence. One word can only be expressed by those whom
that word was previously attributed to.
Expressing your personal opinion regarding sexual preferences or identity
could get you fired or worse; ostracized.
An interviewee was sharing how the facts he publishes are hard
to hear because of the manner in which he expresses them. The manner in which people’s opinions have
been filtered has prevented clearly identifying truth. This man was co-founder of a now popular
magazine and news production company.
This production company reveals and publishes stories that aren’t too
popular or too controversial to run on mainstream media.
I did a bit of research to find out why he was asked to
leave a company he co-founded. He is
restricted from speaking about the issue since he signed a non-disclosure
agreement. Although I didn’t find the
reason for his departure, what I did find inspired me to write this particular
blog.
After having his first-born child, something happened to
this gentleman. He seems to have had a
change of heart and a new perspective was granted him. He went from being atheist and anti
everything ‘religious,’ to realizing there is a God! Something happened to him which reminded me
of what happened to someone named Enoch long ago.
“After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked
faithfully with God…”
- Genesis 5: 22a
