Cease Your Prejudice And Hypocrisy You So-Called Christian

I'm not 'methodist', although some would say I have a method.
Grace is largely misunderstood.
Although men perceive different 'churches', there is only one Church... and it is unidentifiable.
I found this message to be very clear, honest, and speaking to the confusion caused by politics.

It shouldn't be expected from people who see the world only within the walls they've been taught, for them to love those who do not look and think like themselves.

It is typical for a person today to perceive anyone on the other side of a political border (invisible line conceived in the minds of men) as different.

It is typical to hold indifferent feelings towards others unknown to one's self.

Each person is primarily born into a home influenced by prejudice, and when stepping outside are influenced by political biases according to whatever established culture and society.

To be sure, most government policy is well branded onto the psyche of its citizenry.

Although that brand is labeled 'Christian', if we look at every issue or passage of law, one could measure how accurate those laws of men follow God's Law, or contradict His Law.

For those born again, or renewed by His Spirit, or raised according to the love of Christ and not a political branding, they are called to look beyond the surface of things.

They are demanded to deny themselves, and see clearly who they are in the mirror.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?
Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others?
Do not even pagans do that?
Be perfect, therefore, as your Heavenly Father is Perfect.
- Matthew 5: 46-48
Consider how, when the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost, the earliest members of the Church were from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and different languages.
Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans?
Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?
Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
- Acts 2: 7-11
Consider the fact that the Gospel, although starting with the Jews, was purposed to reach and even envelope the Gentile world.

This has happened!

Yet some so-called Christians today only recognize other s0-called Christians that merely look like themselves on the outside.

Racial and cultural prejudices, echoed for generations atop governments focused on this world, have programmed the passive populous quite precisely.

It is called political science.

It is called manipulation, instigating and playing on your sinful nature.

But those reaching out to God and seeking His love identify this sin very clearly, perhaps initially in others... but eventually how it has made its way into themselves.

Notice how Paul chastised Peter for such prejudices:
When Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.
For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles.
But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group.
The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.
When I saw that they were not acting in line with the Truth of the Gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, “You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew.
How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?
- Galatians 2: 11-14
Notice that it was condemnable to hold back love to another brother / sister in Christ.

Consider it was 'fear' that led Peter astray into shrinking back.

Notice Peter's hypocrisy also influenced others to follow his example and backslide.

Consider it was an issue regarding the 'Truth of the Gospel'.

The matter is summarized as issues of eating, drinking, customers, and traditions.

These are exterior things which have nothing to do with what is inside.

Peter allowed what looked different on the outside to somehow tempt him into denying the truth already revealed to his heart.

Peter placated those who held such prejudices.

The issue is that the ethnic Jews from Jerusalem considered themselves superior to Gentiles.

Much the same as some Americans view themselves superior to other nations, or how some Arabs view themselves superior to other nations, and so on all over the world by ignorant pride of mere men.

However, let it be known that Gentiles were brought into the fold as one brotherhood, one Church, one kingdom of God... and all are one in Spirit (although still splintered in their faulty minds and wrenched hearts).
Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)—remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
But now in Christ Yeshua you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in His flesh the law with its commands and regulations.
His purpose was to create in Himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one Body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which He put to death their hostility.
He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
For through Him we both have access to the Father by One Spirit.
- Ephesians 2: 11-18
If we learn anything from the Gospel and the Acts of the faithful is this: submitting to one another and embracing all things different than one's prior cultural constant.

Through love the early Church lived at peace with those who looked differently on the outside.

What was previously perceived as hostile was kindly considered.

The good was adopted, the bad trimmed away.

Men learned from the backgrounds of others and thus added to their humanity from this learning.

When the Light appeared in the hearts of peoples in every nation the Gospel reached (and continues to reach), the faithful were recognized not according to ethnic background, but according to the unity of the Holy Spirit.

The Gospel calls men to embrace all others (even love your enemy), but some religion people have become tribal and have lost the Way.

This is why it is shameful, and even gravely concerning as we read from Peter's chastisement (possible condemnation) to treat others in a hostile way according to inherent prejudice.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view.
Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!
All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.
And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.
We implore you on Christ’s behalf:
Be reconciled to God.
God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
- 2 Corinthians 5: 16-21
Over time, unfortunately, the Church became divided (in their minds) along political, ethnic, and language lines.

Yet the kingdom remained one as He is One.

Consider in your hearts if Christ would even talk about others as some today in the media (social or 'official') talk about strangers, judging according to what is seen on the outside while never knowing the secrets of any man's heart.

This is what Satan does.

Satan constantly accuses.

Some so-called Christians are actually revealing their likely condemnation by repeating the vitriol heard from loveless government policy and charismatic 'leaders'.

What is revealed from those who parrot animosity is simply this: they are religious fanatics, but not lovers of Christ.

By their simpleton hostility towards complete strangers, they show how ignorant and void of God's love they truly are.

What is worse, is the ignoring of strangers who also profess their faith in the risen Lord.

Thus, what is revealed is a hostility towards Christ Himself. (what you did to the least of these you did to me)

They are imposters, hypocrites, racists, people only worshipping the idols of this world (government, money, their ethnic pride, military prowess, et al).

The issue of judging by outer appearance goes far beyond political arguments.
Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.
- John 7: 24
These are matters of the heart that reveal the spirit in someone.
But Yeshua would not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all people.
He did not need any testimony about mankind, for He knew what was in each person.
- John 2: 24-25
