Someone Asked: What Screams "I Am God"?

He left His imprint on the world... and it has never been the same since.

Before answering ‘what’, I’ll answer ‘who’:

Nowadays… an antichrist or possessed or mentally ill person usually ‘screams’ such a claim.

Only the One revealed from Above was truly ‘God’ when He appeared on earth.

Only His claim was proved 'true' when He resurrected from the dead.

He made that claim in the most humble and subtlest of ways, for the sake of men’s weak and doubtful hearts.

The manner He declared Himself also reveals His own humble and sure heart.

It is those who understand (or beg) that Love live in them so they may reflect love onto others, regardless of how others treat them, who dare not make such a claim.

It is those who acknowledge (or beg) His Holy Spirit to reside in their flesh temple, who dare not make such a claim.

Yet these proclaim that God lives in them by His Spirit!

It is written:
“I said, ‘You are “gods”;
you are all sons of the Most High.’...
-Psalm 82: 6
May the hearers understand they are called to the highest position attainable on earth for a spirit being.

You are a spirit being (having a soul - a thing eternal) experiencing a temporary physical journey (having a temple made of flesh - a thing temporal).

Due to disparity, as is common on this plane - this fallen world, the following is also the verdict following the reveal of ‘what’ you are:
But you will die like mere mortals;
you will fall like every other ruler.”
-Psalm 82: 7
Why?

Our sin.

The believer in the risen Christ realizes they are called to be one with Him and one with every other human being (their current, or hopefully future, spiritual brothers and sisters).

There is notice where God does declare repeatedly “I Am God” when speaking to certain prophets, so they may convey this affirmation to His hearers… usually in times of chastisement or reminder.
He says, “Be still, and know that I Am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
-Psalm 46: 10
This leads to the notion of evidence for God… and answering the ‘what’:

Nature may be understood to express quite boldly and obviously such a ‘scream’.

But as is God’s nature, nature expresses itself silently and subtly.

Yet realize how nature conveys the fact it was designed by a Great Designer!

Nature reveals patterns of intelligent design, according to the maths and sciences as men understand them.

It is in man that nature and divinity interconnect.

Man continuously ponders such mysteries within himself, about himself, and outside of himself.

Man continuously reflects both the spiritual and the temporal (since he is both at the moment while walking the earth).

Even our thoughts and the searching out of our hearts reveal that God is therein effecting our attention and acknowledgement of Him.

Why?

So we won’t destroy ourselves out of despair.

Despair caused from the doubt-filled notion that we are alone in this world (a lie perpetuated).

Alone we are not… and although science reveals things mysterious, man often interprets insightful discoveries from a place of doubt, instead of from the place of faith.

Consider the fact that the sciences were derived from believing and educated minds, men who desired to ‘know’ why they pondered what they did, and openly considered the divine beyond their full understanding.

We are called to somehow experience His divine nature (realizing this is our purpose while on earth).

Consider what is revealed from outside of us in the physical world:
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
-Romans 1: 20–23
Consider also what is revealed from within ourselves:
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the human heart;
yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
-Ecclesiastes 3: 11
Consider, lastly, the power granted to those who follow the Lord Yeshua into heaven:
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
-2 Peter 1: 3–4
