Be - The Change - The Difference - The Example - Be

God has provided us with teaching tools... the ant grants us at least one lesson.
Creation awaits... to grant you what God has planned for you to learn.
How much more are we, made in His image and likeness, examples for others to see!

If there ever was a person that needed to do what is right, be that person. 

Your example may be the inspiration God purposed for a particular eye witness. 

A glimmer of hope someone needed to see.

An example of what is right in a sea of swimming in wrongs.

There is an idiom that says 'actions speak louder than words’. 

How true. 

We may have heard someone promise to do something, and were disappointed when they didn't do as they said. 

Or heard someone express they are one kind of person, only to see them act very different. 

Perhaps we have not kept our word.

Or portrayed ourselves in one way while our actions revealed another manner.

“What do you think? 

There was a man who had two sons. 

He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ 

‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. 

Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. 

He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. 

Which of the two did what his father wanted?” 

“The first,” they answered. 

Yeshua said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. 

For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. 

And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.”

- Matthew 21: 28-32

These are ants have made a safer way across a human path.
This is where one step meets another on a concrete staircase.

People are searching for human examples of Christ.

We hear plenty of talk, promises, sales pitches... but likely see very few doers.

Be the doer.

Be the example.

Be the man / woman another man / woman needs to see... so they may believe and also be.

The manner of being need not be something we would consider 'significant'.

A palace is not built in a moment, but in placing, quite precisely, brick after single brick.

Even the smallest gesture can make a big difference to a casual observer.

A smile can turn someone's heart from sorrow to joy, from misery to hope, from hate to love.

That faithful prayer for someone else, even if a glimpse flashing through your heart and uttered only in your mind, is an act of love.

A faithful act that raptures the spiritual realm in magnificent ways we cannot physically perceive.

The aim, in all things, is best exemplified in the following passage.

A passage that precipitated His passion.

A lesson for us to put our lives into proper perspective.

Take note: these words teach us what He accomplished by His example!

Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; 

yet not My will, but Yours be done. 

- Luke 22: 42

The ants have somehow figured out a way to keep from being smashed.
They travel along a path the human foot rarely touches... and so their act teaches a curious observer (me).
