Reconciling Splitting Images

This broken mirror can represent many things:
- an inability to see another human being as you would see yourself.
- the conflict between 'east' and 'west', or the myriad of ideologies present on earth.
Love is the seal fixing the shattered human being.
Loves is the bond which makes one image reflected.
As is seen in the image, this is 100% the Way.

Ideas can separate and also unify people.

An identity can be difficult to look past.

How ideas are discussed in meeting a hearer's expectation is key.

Meeting another man's ideas.

Speaking to a current ideology when introducing ideas that may, on their surface, seem different, is challenging.

Mankind has so much more in common than in difference.

At man's core, he desires the same things.

Going about those same desires is what seems at odds.

Cultural identity is very powerful.

I think people, at their core, have a yearning to be loved.

How love is defined is important.

What (and who) love is ... so important to find out.

Every culture has its rendition of love.

How such an idea has been incorporated in any given culture through religious ideas and traditions seems agreeable on their surface... and this is a start.

Any given people desire to govern themselves according to the ideas they perceive as true, better, more valid, etc., than the method of governances of any other people.

If only people can look past their pride and realize that another human being wants the same thing.

There are many honorable things a certain individual has inherited from their parents or their culture.

But can the same individual clearly identify the dishonorable tradition or a less-than-perfect idea they've inherited?

The aim of nationalism (or a national identity), as any people may understand this, is to bring people under a single umbrella.

This is the same aim of religion.

Sounds like good aims.

It is possible to discuss conflicting ideas in searching how they are similar.

The 'differences', and how they are mentioned or enacted, is the work of peacemakers.

Responsibility.

When ideas (and the minds of men that have become overly fixated on them) override consideration for another human being, crimes can be argued as 'good' or justified... and evil may not easily be identified as evil.

There is a life principle that speaks to the manner differences can be resolved:
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
- Matthew 7: 12
That 'do to others' includes the manner ideas are spoken.

If an idea is spoken through a sentiment of hate, or indifference, or from a place of dominance... notice that you would not like to spoken to in such a way.

But somehow, when love is the origin and the aim of discussion, notice how despite differences of ideas and words, love brings people closer together and resolves many misconceptions.
