God And His Message To The Elderly

God has invited you to His royal court for a dinner party.

There are certain things to prepare oneself and make ready prior to arriving at His dinner party.

The dirt from under your feet needs to be removed before stepping foot onto His floor.

Proper attire is expected, not optional.

The proper attitude and formalities are also required, this dinner party is formal and after all this is the King of king's banquet.

As with a formal and important dinner party you would put together, you would also expect your invitees to be looking their best.

You would expect your invitees to be in proper form, meaning; to be respectful to the other guests and to be on their best behavior while in your home.

You also would expect your guests to be mindful of themselves, not to drudge in mud or other dirt from the outside.

You have gone to great lengths to provide a grand dinner party and would expect the greatest appreciation and respect from the invitees for all your efforts.

In fact, this would be the most common and basic expectation.

Anything less of respect to your wishes would not be tolerated nor accepted.

How much more careful shall your preparation be considering the Holy Father, the One who created you!?

Considering how grand His love for you has been, you can look back and count the many times He has kept you from disaster or calamity.

You can likely count the many ways He has provided for your needs, whether they were emotional, physical, spiritual or otherwise.

His love naturally beckons a certain level of respect and a particular awareness of expectation from you.

Would you consider entering His royal court with filthy shoes where you may ruin the polished pearl floor?

Would you not also consider the words used when addressing other creations of His?

Surely He knows all things, and knows whether you would be putting on an act before the other guests, when perhaps prior to entering the banquet you used words that hurt and belittled His precious creations.

Imagine yourself having a sour argument with another invitee prior to the dinner party.

Later in the Lord’s court, you may try to save face and justify your anger or bad attitude in front of the other dinner guests.

Perhaps you would go as far as justifying yourself before the King Himself.

Thus why you shall walk gently with the use of your words and tone among other possible invitees who are also preparing themselves for their arrival to His court and dinner party.

Do not gather up the mud of unloving words you may use when addressing His other loved ones.

In preparing your outfit to present yourself before His Royal Glory, wouldn’t you thus also consider the condition of what is inside your heart?

The eyes are the reflection of the heart, and many times the outer appearance can be admirable while the weight of the heart can be seen in the eyes and reveal the truth.

In order for light to shine out from the glow found in the heart through your eyes, wouldn’t you also be mindful of the condition of that heart God gave you?

The practice of forgiving others is part of the work of keeping a healthy and light-filled heart.

The effort of considering the love, grace, and forgiveness the Father has shown you all these years (you are still alive and are still under His grace if you are reading this).

These considerations should be motivation enough to release yourself from the bitter bond of not forgiving others.

Whether others have hurt you on purpose or by ignorance should remind you of how you have dishonored the Holy Father by purposed fault or by ignorant mistake.

The practice of keeping a conscience pulse on your heart’s condition should also make for the practice of wearing your outfit in proper form, a clear reflection of your heart’s demeanor.

The grace He has shown you in forgiving you of your failings should be the grace you also express to those near and far.

Whether family or perceived foe, you forgiving others allows you to learn what it is to be a loving steward of the grace of the Holy Father.

So be prepared to keep a light and loving heart while before the King in His royal court.

How can you prepare yourself for your meeting with the Holy Father, the King of kings, the Almighty and Eternal God, in the company which will be present?

You should empty your mind of the things that anger you and things you may be bitterly battling.

Things like regret, fear, false security, and other such things that plague people with no faith in His promises.

But you have such faith, and this gift of His faith will assist you prior to entering His Holy court.

You shall empty your heart of any contempt and any distrust you may hold against someone, since God is your Defender and Savior.

This is the preparation for your passage heavenward.
