God's Consciousness Evident In Nature

Looking closely reveals much.

To answer this article’s question: Absolutely!

As I see things, God has granted mankind every opportunity to understand His Presence, His Eminence, His Existence behind, being, and beyond nature.

God has done this in very simple and easy terms:
Since what may be known about God is plain to them,
because God has made it plain to them.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—
His eternal power and divine nature—
have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made,
so that people are without excuse.
- Romans 1: 19-20
The invisible qualities of God are expressed in nature.

They are continuously expressed in nature... behind the atom and beyond the universe.

However far man would search, there is always found God's fingerprints.

When looking far out into the universe (macroscopic), or deep into the microscopic, there is found evidence.

Peeling back the onion, more is understood.

Wherever man may ponder, there God gives His answer.

It is better for man to take at face value the evidence God has provided.

It is wiser to resolve concepts that may seem, or be argued, to contradict such evidence.

Motivation.

Some minds and hearts are motivated to deny God at all costs... and their science expresses such disdain.

But instead of conflict, collaboration should be the goal.

Consider the Watchmaker analogy.

In short, the physical laws science has authored reveal a mechanical perfection that depicts how the universe works, similar to learning how a watch works.

Much how the watch didn't just 'happen', but someone brought it into existence by the fact of its workings, so also all things have a work that logic suspects was designed.

The universe's watchmaker is God.

This very fundamental and basic principle of design is the evidence of God's work.

It's not a matter needing to be set in stone, as a watch is a fixed mechanism.

Rather, organic and living things are 'changing' since their parts are in constant motion.

This should not bring contradiction onto the watch design analogy.

The things men make are inorganic, although fashioned from things previously alive.

Consider how all that man observes in nature is organic.

Alive.

Even things suspected as having no 'life', like a stone... science has realized that therein is found life.

Thus what is alive, or in this article's case 'conscious', is more evident than previously perceived.

Living things are organic and carry a propensity to 'change', or 'adapt', or even 'evolve' according to other changes in other living things.

Notice how it is all compatible.

Consistent with an aspiration towards intelligent design beings behind even change.

When men introduce their intrigues, notice how nature either repels, corrects, and again establishes His order.

So however a plague is understood, or a storm, or a 'natural' disaster, notice how after any such devastation, destruction, or death, His order is reinstated.

Thus, there is a 'program' that God, as the Great Programer, has initiated.

At a glance, we can see our relation to what God has provided.

A man's mind can sometimes only see a circuit board, but not the entire apparatus.

Or only a spinning cog and not the entire watch mechanism.

Intelligence thus surrounds us at all times... if only we can widen our gaze, broaden our horizon... or even ask for help in understanding.

Design has purpose.

Notice how design is not simply fanciful or a thing by chance.

It is quote odd how such sophistication can be dismissed as a 'perception' of man's mind.

When man realizes he is a part of a greater scheme of things, that he is found 'in God', is when man is likely to have a conflict (between faith and doubt).

Does man then believe what he sees?

Or does man premise yet another question to reinforce his doubt?

What is frustrating for those who doubt, no matter their educational pedigree or how sophisticated they may be perceived by their fans, is this reality: faith is a gift.

Not that faith is a magic spell that simply convinces one mind of something scientifically incompatible to another mind.

Not at all.

Faith resolves suspected conflicts and brings understanding.

The gift brings to light what is veiled by darkness (or doubt).

This is why the very logical concept of the watchmaker analogy is dumbfounded by minds who are not gifted faith / light.

Their hearts and minds are programmed to doubt.

Yes, God allowed a program of doubt to run rampant... as He also gifts a program of faith.
