Single Degree Of Separation / Unification

In long distance journeys, a minor adjustment can make all the difference.
Our lives can seem like a long and, often times, arduous journey.
Small adjustments can make the biggest difference regarding our final destination.

Do you realize how vital your role is here on earth?

You may suppose that because you don't have a certain title next to your name, your impact on others is somehow less important than someone with a title.

That may be a misguided supposition.

Here is why: even the slightest kindness can alter someone's day in a positive way.

A smile may bring joy to a heart that may be contemplating the worst things (to hurt others or themselves, or simply feeling utterly hopeless).

I've experienced this in my own life.

There have been times that everything seems to be going wrong.

Then I see a smile from a stranger, or notice a beautiful sight from nature.

Then the light inside is made much brighter.

Out goes dark or doubtful thoughts very quickly.

Even hearing, or perhaps catching a sight of, a lizard stirring when they see me makes me appreciate something beautiful.

Almost any interaction within nature can get my mind thinking positively.

How much more when that interaction is with another human being.

A few kind words may be what someone needed to hear at a particular moment on a certain day.

You never know when you may come across someone who is at their wits-end.

A few words from you may adjust their trajectory in perhaps the slightest way.

Yet even a small measure can produce major results.

Even a single degree of a trajectory's adjustment can mean the difference between life or death.

This concept can be physically compared to a sea sailing, or wind flying, or space trekking, vessel.

The greater the distance to be traveled, the more accurate coordinates and trajectory needs to be.

So even a small portion of a single degree off can mean many hundreds or thousands of miles going off-course.

So also, the slightest mental adjustment or heart-correction could mean arriving to the right destination as opposed to the wrong one.

Love is the beginning and end of all things.

Thus, when words are spoken through love, the recipient is blessed in ways not easily perceived by man's eyes.

When actions are performed through love, the recipient is blessed in ways difficult to fully understand or appreciate.

Sometimes, part of love's conveyance is simply listening to someone vent their struggles.

Often times offering a 'solution' is not really the 'solution', but perhaps a hopeful word or a smile in response is the solution, or the need, or the purpose.
